• Meet with pupil and assess current standard of work in English composition, comprehension and Maths
• Identify general strengths and weaknesses with specific suggestions for improvement
• Advice on school selection and ways that parents can make certain their child is prepared
• Strategies for effective exam preparation

This session will be followed by a more in-depth report.

• Close monitoring of the child's progress in light of exam requirements
• Strategies to tackle problems and improve performance as the exam draws nearer
• Detailed advice on maximizing performance in the exams

• 30 minute "mock" interview with tasks and questions similar to those which are often used at 7+ and 11+ interviews
• Discussion of key points with the child and parents, including advice for parents who will be having interviews themselves

In addition, detailed notes about examination preparation and exam technique will be provided after each session.
